Ed Policy Reveals 2026 Packers Ticket Prices as Vikings Game Draws Attention

GREEN BAY, Wis. — Green Bay Packers fans now have a clearer picture of what it will cost to watch the team at Lambeau Field during the 2026 season, with Packers President and CEO Ed Policy outlining a new ticket-pricing structure that includes increases across several seating sections.

The Packers announced that regular-season stadium bowl tickets will rise by $4 to $22 per game, depending on the location of the seat. The Vikings are among Green Bay’s NFC North opponents visiting Lambeau Field during the 2026 regular season, adding extra interest to the pricing announcement.

According to the Packers, 2026 regular-season ticket prices range from $143 to $218 in several of the stadium’s standard seating areas. The lowest listed regular-season price is $143 for the South End Zone 700 Level, while seats between the 20-yard lines will cost $218.

Seating area 2026 regular-season price
South End Zone – 700 Level $143
End Zone $155
South End Zone – 600 Level $157
End Zone to 20-yard line $183
Between the 20-yard lines $218

The Packers say the new pricing represents an effort to balance the enormous demand for tickets with the organization’s goal of keeping Lambeau Field competitive in terms of value.

Ed Policy found his 'Shangri-La' in Green Bay

“Our overall average ticket price … is expected to be near the middle of the NFL’s pricing,” Policy said in a letter to season-ticket holders.

That message has become an important part of Policy’s approach since taking over as the organization’s president and CEO. The Packers have one of the strongest ticket-demand environments in professional sports, yet the club has continued to describe its pricing as roughly middle-of-the-pack compared with the rest of the NFL.

Vikings matchup adds another layer of interest

Whenever Minnesota comes to Green Bay, demand is naturally heightened by the NFC North rivalry. The Vikings are scheduled among the Packers’ division opponents at Lambeau Field in 2026, alongside Chicago and Detroit.

That means fans looking to attend the Vikings matchup should not assume that every seat will be available at the lowest listed face value. The Packers use variable pricing, meaning the actual value associated with a particular game can depend on the seating package and game assignment.

The newly announced prices are therefore best viewed as the team’s published regular-season pricing structure rather than a single universal price for the Vikings game.

Why are prices going up?

Policy has been increasingly candid about the financial challenges facing the Packers.

Unlike most NFL franchises, Green Bay operates under its unique community-owned structure and does not have a deep-pocketed individual owner who can inject additional capital into the organization. Policy has said the Packers need to be thoughtful and increasingly aggressive about generating revenue while maintaining competitiveness.

Ticket pricing is one part of that strategy.

During the NFL Annual Meeting, Policy explained that the organization needs to be “very thoughtful in ticket pricing” as it looks for ways to remain financially competitive.

At the same time, the Packers have emphasized that the increases are not intended to push Lambeau Field into the most expensive tier of NFL stadiums.

The organization said its overall average ticket price is expected to remain near the middle of the league, despite the high demand for Packers tickets.

Fans will have to decide whether the experience is worth it

For Packers supporters, the question is straightforward: Is seeing Green Bay at Lambeau Field worth the higher price?

For a rivalry game against Minnesota, many fans will likely answer yes.

Lambeau Field remains one of the NFL’s most recognizable venues, and a Packers-Vikings matchup carries additional significance because of the long-standing NFC North rivalry. The combination of the historic stadium, divisional competition and high demand could make tickets particularly attractive to fans who want to experience the game in person.

Still, the price increase will not go unnoticed.

Regular-season prices have increased from 2025 levels, with the largest jump depending on the location of the seat. For example, the South End Zone 700 Level moved from $139 to $143, while seats between the 20-yard lines increased from $196 to $218.

For fans purchasing multiple tickets, those differences can add up quickly.

The bigger picture

Policy’s announcement is about more than one game.

The Packers are entering a period in which NFL operating expenses continue to rise, particularly the cost of maintaining a competitive roster. Policy has acknowledged that Green Bay needs additional revenue sources to keep pace with privately owned franchises that have access to capital unavailable to the Packers.

That makes ticket revenue increasingly important.

For now, however, the Packers are sticking with Lambeau Field’s traditional identity while attempting to balance affordability with the realities of the modern NFL.

And with Minnesota coming to Green Bay as part of the 2026 home schedule, Packers fans who want to experience the rivalry from inside Lambeau will have to weigh the new prices against what could be one of the more anticipated home games of the season.

The message from Ed Policy is clear: demand remains extremely strong, but the cost of attending an NFL game continues to rise — even at one of the league’s most historic stadiums.
